Kootu Curry kerala Style
Kootu Curry, is a traditional side dish prepared mostly during festivals like Onam, Vishu, and marriages in Kerala. Kootu Curry has its place in the traditional Sadya (feast of Kerala). Cooked with vegetables, Bengal gram or Chick pea and tempered with roasted coconut and spice.

Chick pea (Kabuli chana) cooked 100 gms, Raw Kerala Banana 3 nos chopped, Yam (Suran) 1/2 kg (500 gms) chopped, Crushed Black Pepper 1 teaspoon, Turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon, Hing 1/2 teaspoon, Salt 1 teaspoon.
For Masala Paste :- Grated coconut 1 cup, Garlic 3 nos, Jaggery small piece, Cumin seeds 1 teaspoon.
For Fry Masala :- Coconut oil 2 tablespoon, Mustard seeds 1 teaspoon, Coconut 1/2 cup, Shallots (Small onion) 100 gms, Curry leaves, Dried Red chilli 2 nos, Red chilli powder 1 teaspoon.
