Sambhar Kerala Style

Sambhar, One of the most popular recipe from South India. Cooked with mixed vegetables, Toor dal (Yellow Lentils),roasted Coconut gravy and Tamarind extract. An Aromatic and mouth watering recipe.

Ingredients : Ingredients: For Masala:- Coconut Oil 1 teaspoon, Dried Red Chillies 6 nos, Grated Coconut 1/2 cup, Coriander seeds 1 tablespoon, Fenugreek 1 teaspoon, Cumin Seeds 1 teaspoon, Curry leaves.

Yam (Suran) 250 gms, White Pumpkin 250 gms, Red Pumpkin 250 gms, Drumsticks 2 nos, Potato 2 nos, Brinjal 2 nos, Tomato 1 nos, Yellow lentils (Toor Dal) 1/2 cup cooked. Green Chillies 4 slit, Tamarind extract Lemon size, Hing 1 teaspoon, Turmeric 1 teaspoon, Jaggery small size, Salt as per taste, Coriander leaves for garnishing. Water 2 cup or as required.

For Tadka:- Coconut Oil 3 teaspoon, Mustard seeds 1 teaspoon, Onion 1 nos chopped, Dried Red chillies 2 nos, Lady's finger 6 nos, Curry Leaves.
