Erissery Kerala Style
Erissery, Made with red pumpkin and red black eyed pea, a mild and tempered curry with light coconut masala. A traditional and popular kerala recipe. Goes well with steamed rice.

Cooking Time :
Red Pumpkin 500 gms, green chillies 4 nos slit, Turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon, Water as required, Salt as per taste. Red black eyed pea ( lal chawli) 250 gms
For Masala Paste: Coconut 1 1/2 cup, Cumin seeds 1 teaspoon, Red Chilli powder 1 teaspoon, Tumeric powder 1/2 teaspoon
For tadka: Coconut Oil 2 tablespoon, Mustard seeds 1 teaspoon, Dried Red Chilli 2 nos slit, Onion 1 chopped, Coconut 1/2 cup, Curry leaves, Red Chilli Powder 1/2 teaspoon.
